I got these on special and was a bit worried given some of the previous reviews. I am 181cm and 77kgs. I went for an XL size and they are a good fit. Chamois is comfortable and pocket on knicks hold my phone well with no noticeable movement.
The Stone Cargo bib shorts are a testament to innovative design, combining Zaffiro Lycra®Power fabric for maximum performance with UPF50+ protection against the sun's rays. These are not worth the money. I bought two and one was breaking apart within 4 weeks (see image), the other one is a bit more robust and starting to fall apart after 1 year. But when you pay this much, you expect all of them to last! I have not had this happen with other Ale bibsho shorts or other cheaper ones. Bad design!

I've' tried a lot of bibs, and Ale PRR and PRS bibs are by far the most comfortable with the best chamois for my bum - the fluro yellow one. These are great bibs, and beat most other brands, but they could do with a few refinements. The green chamois, its a bit too bulky/chunky feeling and mine has started pilling a little, I've never had that with a yellow one. The Mesh pockets are not ideal, they tore really easily - I dont know why most manufactureres use mesh - just use Lycra! One final suggestion to R&D team - gravel riders are out for long rides - please consider using the cold black lycra fabric? Contrary to the other review I find sizing pretty good, I'm fairly lean 191cm 89kg and size L fits me in all Ale bibs. These are a touch tighter than other Ale bibs, but not worth sizing up for me.

These are great bibs but they are let down by the cargo pockets, in particular the mesh, which has far too much elasticity to hold heavier items, such as phones, in place. My iPhone bounces around endlessly, to my distraction and discomfort. The mesh also wraps further around the leg than other cargo bib pockets. As for fit, these size up small like most Italian apparel. For reference, I usually wear XL bibs, but purchased 2XL in these. They fit my 188cm, 88kg frame well.
