Polartec Power Shield :  A technical 3-laver fabric, protects from the elements but without the stiff hand and loud noise of a shell. The outer surface blocks wind and deflects moisture. This allows the garment to provide greater Comfort, protecting against wind and moisture. What differentiates it from other protective layers is its membrane that easily releases excess heat and water vapour to leave the garment dry both inside and out. Extremely abrasion-resistant, with unmatched longevity, a water-repellent surface that repels moisture and snow, and extreme ease of movement, the fabric is considered to be high-performance. Polartec® Power Shield™ Pro is a breathable, windproof and waterproof molecular membrane of plant origin and tree of PEAS. It uses Molecular diffusion rather than micropores which have the advantage of blocking water droplets while allowing water vanour, i.e, sweat, to escape. As there are no micropores this new technology cannot clog or lose breathability.
