At Alé we’re passionate about reducing the unnecessary waste in our industry and are working towards incorporating sustainable fibres to create our fabrics wherever we can.
The Green Road collection is made of 90% recycled fabrics, yarns and elastic that have a low environmental impact. The main jersey fabric is GRS certified (https://grscertification.com/certification/), is incredibly light and increases ventilation and promotes drying. The jersey back is light, breathable and durable. The raw cut sleeves, in "barely there" fabric, allow maximum freedom of movement and better aerodynamics. The 3 back pockets have a reflective insert to be more visible on the road and a fourth "green pocket" on the side stores waste such as gels wrappers.
